Mr. Bandeen is currently President & CEO of Associated Assets Acquisition Inc. He is also Chairman of CNQ Inc (the Canadian Trading and Quotation System Inc.), a Quotation and Trade Reporting System that is scheduled to commence operations in the first half of 2002. As well, Mr. Bandeen sits on the Board of Alliance Financial Group, a CDNX listed company that provides internet-based lease brokerage services. He is also integrally involved with a number of financial services businesses. Prior to this he spent 13 years as an investment banker during which time he was one of the leading founders of the Canadian securitization markets, culminating in his position as Managing Director and Global Head, Securitization & Structured Finance at Nesbitt Burns Inc., a prominent Canadian investment bank.

In addition to a Honours BA from Queen's University at Kingston, Mr. Bandeen has earned both an LLB and a BCL from McGill University. A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Mr. Bandeen is also a Trustee of the S.M. Blair Foundation. Finally, he sits on the Board of Directors of both the John P Robarts Research Institute and the Toronto International Fim Festival.
